The ryuuma or dragon horse is the promotion of the Bishop. It is very mighty, able to move one square in any direction as well as the move of the Bishop. The only more powerful piece in regular shogi is the Dragon King.

Chu Shogi[]

This piece is now a starting piece. Amazingly, it becomes even more powerful as a Horned Eagle when promoted.
